Star Wine List Names the Best Wine Lists in France, 2025

February 11, 2025 – At Wine Paris this week, the international wine guide Star Wine List awarded Gold Stars to the top wine lists of France for the second time.

Star Wine List of the Year is a competition celebrating the great wine lists across the world – and the teams behind them. In France, prizes were awarded in 10 categories, with the winners in the international ones automatically qualifying for the Star Wine List of the Year International Final in June 2025.

“What an incredible treat it was to judge Star Wine List of the Year France,” says judge Kathrine Larsen-Robert MS, “and to look through one well-curated wine list after the other. The passion, expertise, and desire to excel is clearly felt, and France is truly such an exciting place to be right now! A big congratulations to all participants.”

Kathrine was joined on the jury panel by sommeliers Pascaline Lepeltier and Nina Jensen, plus wine writer, radio host and local expert Jérôme Gagnez. The Gold Stars were announced at a ceremony hosted during Wine Paris 2025.
