Von Ebert Brewing, Fort George Brewing Release West Coast Pilsner Collaboration

‘Eternal Somewhere’ is the first of Von Ebert Brewing’s 2025 Collaboration Series

Portland, OR (January 29, 2025) – Today, Von Ebert Brewing released its first collaboration beer of 2025, a West Coast Pilsner brewed with Fort George Brewing called Eternal Somewhere.

“In 2025, you’ll see Von Ebert Brewing collaborating with some of our closest friends and award-winning brewers,” said Scott Peterson, Quality, Compliance & Maintenance Lead at Von Ebert Brewing and brewer of Eternal Somewhere West Coast Pilsner. “This collaboration helps us continue to live up to our brand of being a brewery where tradition meets evolution – taking a classic Pilsner and putting our West Coast spin on it to make a very tasty beer.”

Join members of both brewery teams at Moon & Sixpence (2014 NE 42nd Ave, Portland, OR 97213) at the release party on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m. Eternal Somewhere West Coast Pilsner will also be available on draft at all Von Ebert Brewing and Fort George Brewing locations as well as in 4-pack, 16-ounce cans to-go and in Northwest bars, bottleshops and grocery stores.

Von Ebert Brewing will release several other collaborations with the following award-winning breweries throughout the year:

  • Fort George Brewery, Astoria, Oregon (February)
  • Russian River Brewing Company, Santa Rosa, California (April)
  • ISM Brewing, Long Beach, California (June)
  • Green Creek Beer Co., Orange, California (August)
  • Shred Beer Company, Rocklin, California (October)
  • Cloudburst Brewing, Seattle, Washington (December)

With the purchase of the brewing facility on N. Mississippi Ave. in Portland, Von Ebert Brewing is expanding production and distribution from 4,000 barrels per year to as much as 20,000 barrels per year. This allowed Von Ebert Brewing to begin selling more of its offerings in 12-ounce cans and grow its distribution throughout Oregon and Washington, and eventually Idaho, Colorado and parts of California. Von Ebert Brewing will open the N. Mississippi Ave. taproom to the public this winter.

Von Ebert Brewing was founded in 2018 by Tom M. Cook and Tom S. Cook in Portland, Oregon. Von Ebert Brewing is named after the family matriarch lovingly refer to as “Grandma Ebert.” The quintessential immigrant story, Grandma Ebert came to America from Germany via Ellis Island and relied on her grit and determination to create a successful life for her family here in the states. In that vein, the brewery has displayed those same traits and gained success through numerous World Beer Cup medals: 2023 Gold German-Style Pilsner with Pils and 2024 Bronze Vienna Lager. Our moniker celebrates Grandma’s tenacity and honors our heritage. Von Ebert translates loosely to “House of Ebert” or in full English, “House of the Boar.”
