Korbel California Champagne – The Toast of the Inaugural Luncheon

Eleventh Inauguration for America’s Premium Champagne

GUERNEVILLE (RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY), CA, January 20, 2025 – Korbel California Champagne will be on hand to celebrate after Donald J. Trump is sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on January 20th. Following the public Swearing-In Ceremony, a special magnum (1.5L) of Korbel Russian River Valley Natural – featuring a commemorative neck label – will be served at the Inaugural Luncheon and raised in toasts to the new President and Vice President.

2025 marks the eleventh Presidential Inauguration in which Korbel Champagne Cellars has been selected for this prestigious honor. The tradition has lasted forty years beginning in 1985 with the second inauguration of Ronald Reagan and has continued through the inaugurations of George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald J. Trump and Joseph R. Biden, Jr.

The Inaugural Luncheon has been one of the most exclusive events of the Presidential Inauguration since 1897 and serves as a moment for bipartisan unity and goodwill. Once President Trump has taken his public oath of office and delivered his Inaugural address, he will be escorted to one of the most historic places in the U.S. Capitol – Statuary Hall – for the traditional Inaugural Luncheon, hosted by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) and chaired by Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar. In addition to the President, Vice President and members of their families, the 200+ invited guests include lawmakers, dignitaries, and special guests. This year’s luncheon program includes an elegant menu featuring American wines, speeches, gift presentations from the JCCIC and of course, Korbel toasts to the new administration.

“Korbel’s 143-year heritage has allowed us to play a role in America’s greatest traditions and celebrations,” said Gary B. Heck, President, and Owner of Korbel Champagne Cellars. “We are truly honored that Korbel will once again be a part of this important occasion in American history.”
