A Decade of Progress: Women of the Vine & Spirits Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The global membership organization’s milestone anniversary commemorates a decade of progress and underscores the industry’s collective commitment to the advocacy of women in beverage alcohol

January 14, 2025 (New York, NY) – Women of the Vine & Spirits (WOTVS), the leading mission-driven global membership organization comprised of women and men committed to empowering and advancing women, is celebrating its 10th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in its mission to advocate for women in the beverage alcohol industry.

Founded in 2015 by Deborah Brenner, WOTVS was the first organization to unite all three tiers and industry sectors to champion women in the workplace. Together, with its esteemed representation of Corporate Members, WOTVS is shaping the beverage alcohol industry where the talents and perspectives of all women are not only valued but serve as a driving force for success and growth.

Over the past decade, WOTVS and its Corporate Members have been instrumental in driving industry progress by empowering women through targeted initiatives that break down professional barriers and create meaningful career opportunities in the beverage alcohol sector.

“Ten years ago, I envisioned a community where women and men in beverage alcohol could take off their competitive hats to connect, share best practices and accelerate industry-wide change,” said Deborah Brenner, Founder & CEO of Women of the Vine & Spirits. “Today, WOTVS is a thriving global network that has made significant strides in fostering a more gender-diverse industry, changing the face of beverage alcohol. This milestone reflects the dedication of our Corporate Members and our community’s unwavering belief in our mission.”
