Healdsburg, CA (January 13, 2025) – Papapietro Perry Winery has unveiled a major new mural at the winery from acclaimed Sonoma County artist Maxfield Bala. The 14’ by 14’ artwork adorns the cellar door at Papapietro Perry in Healdsburg and depicts the cherished winery saying, “Peace, Love & Pinot,” in a vintage postcard.
Bala spent a number of weeks at the winery working on his latest creation, which traces Papapietro Perry’s journey from a humble garage in San Francisco to a picturesque site overlooking Dry Creek Valley. The scene is framed by a radiant valley sunset and clusters of Pinot Noir grapes.
The winery began working with Maxfield Bala last year to create a mural that captured the spirit of Papapietro Perry and highlighted the winery’s history and passion for wine. Petaluma-based Bala is known for his colorful murals around Sonoma County, including the Welcome to Petaluma sign, and his creative collaborations with a variety of companies and organizations around the world.
To celebrate the debut of the mural, for a limited time Papapietro Perry is offering complimentary tastings to people who share a photo of the mural on social media. Papapietro Perry is located at 4791 Dry Creek Rd, Healdsburg, CA 95448.
Papapietro Perry Winery was founded in 1998 and specializes in small-lot Pinot Noirs that express the pure character of the grape and vineyard. The winery is owned by Renae Perry and Ben and Yolanda Papapietro (co-founder Bruce Perry passed away in 2022). Additional information on Papapietro Perry Winery is available at papapietro-perry.com.
