Applications Are Open for the 2025 Artémis Domaines Golden Vines® Victims of Conflict Scholarships

January 13, 2025 – As of today, the Gérard Basset Foundation is welcoming applications for the 2025 Artémis Domaines Golden Vines®  Victims of Conflict Scholarships.  

The Artémis Domaines Golden Vines® Victims of Conflict Scholarships offer meaningful assistance and career  progression to wine professionals who have been affected by war and geo-political conflict. Each Scholar receives a 6- month paid bespoke internship at one of Artémis Domaines’ world-renowned estates, learning new skills in viticulture  and viniculture. 

The Artémis Domaines Scholars need to be able to show and confirm that they meet the following requirements: 

– Scholars must be wine professionals, already working in the wine industry, with appropriate qualifications  including, but not limited to, Diploma Advanced Technician (French BTS) in viticulture/oenology – Scholars will have previous experience working in a vineyard/winery 

– Scholars will have a conversational level of English and some knowledge of French  

The Artémis Domaines Scholars can be located anywhere in the world provided they have valid residence permits and/or  working permits.  

According to Romané Basset, co-founding trustee of the Gérard Basset Foundation: « Through the Artémis Domaines  Golden Vines® Victims of Conflict Scholarships, we are both honoured and humbled to be able to award scholarships  that will provide educational support and career progression to three wine professionals who have been affected by war  and geo-political conflict. Everyone deserves a fair chance. » 

The Artémis Domaines Scholars will be chosen by a committee of judges led by Ian Harris, Chair of Trustees at the  Gérard Basset Foundation and Jérémy Cukierman MW, Communications & Sustainability Director at Artémis  Domaines
