On 3 February, the international wine guide Star Wine List will celebrate the best wine lists of Spain for the first time, at Barcelona Wine Week. The expert jury has now decided the finalists.
January 9, 2025 — Star Wine List of the Year is a celebration of the great wine lists across the world and the teams behind them. In Spain, prizes are awarded in nine categories, and the winners will also qualify for the International Final in June 2025. The jury, including top sommeliers Ferran Centelles and Raimonds Tomsons, has now finished deliberating, and the finalists have been selected.
“We are very excited to see a wide range of great wine lists in the finals and we can’t wait to go to Barcelona to celebrate with the sommeliers of Spain for the first time,” says Krister Bengtsson, founder and publisher of Star Wine List.
