Col San Martino (Treviso) – December 16th 2024 – It is not time that makes history, but choices. And 2024 for Andreola was a year of courageous choices, challenges won and successes that resound with the force of facts. Forty years after its foundation, the Valdobbiadene company remains the leading player in a story about land, dedication and identity. A story that is renewed vintage after vintage, season after season, rooted in the solidity of the land and projected towards the future with a far-sighted vision.
2024 was also the year of the celebration of Andreola’s fortieth anniversary. To honour this milestone, the company chose to create something concrete and long-lasting: a celebratory box dedicated to the “Rive”, the purest and most authentic essence of Valdobbiadene DOCG. A special piece that is not only form but also content. Inside the box are the most intimate and inimitable expressions of the vineyards that Andreola cultivates so devotedly. A project that sought to speak not only about wine, but about time, stories and landscapes. And the market responded. With keen interest and attention, it has been enthusiastically received by sector professionals and enthusiasts, reinforcing the perception of Andreola as an interpreter of excellence that is never pretentious but always widely acclaimed.
The highlights of 2024 are marked by the awards and recognitions obtained. Each medal, each rating is a tangible sign of the value of painstaking work. Among the many achievements, the Tre Bicchieri of Gambero Rosso and the Corona of the Vinibuoni d’Italia guide awarded to Founder 2023 are among the most outstanding, a fitting symbol of a production philosophy that puts the territory at the centre. And furthermore, the Mas de Fer 2023 won the title of best Prosecco in its category according to Falstaff Sparkling Special 2024, with 94 points certifying its excellence. No less important, the Col del Forno 2023 was awarded Gold at The Drinks Business Prosecco Masters and with the prestigious recognition of The WineHunter Award. These achievements are just a part of a larger picture, a story that has seen Andreola labels excel in all the leading national and international competitions, thus confirming the qualitative consistency of every single bottle.
2024 was a year of targeted and strategic investments. In the vineyard, the effort went beyond ordinary management. The abundant spring rains caused small landslides in some landmark areas, requiring emergency interventions to guarantee the stability of the soil and safeguard the vitality of the roots. In the winery, the introduction of new tanks has made it possible to keep the vinification of the individual vineyards separate, a choice that allows the peculiarities of each lot to be enhanced and the authenticity of each terroir to be brought to the bottle. The purchase of a corking machine for screw caps then prompted a new project dedicated to the IGT Dolomites Vineyards, opening up new perspectives and new ways of telling the story of wine.
The market responded, and Andreola thus strengthened its presence abroad, growing in Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, the Baltics, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Ukraine and Hungary. Mature markets like Germany and Malta confirmed their stability, while new opportunities emerged in strategic areas. This scenario confirms a change in global consumption trends: people drink less, but choose to drink better.
In this scenario and helped by his team, Stefano Pola continues to believe in the qualitative coherence and in the ability to express the authenticity of the territory of each of his products.

ANDREOLA
In one of the most representative areas of the Valdobbiadene DOCG, you’ll find Andreola, a winery that since 1984 has made heroic viticulture its distinctive mark. The key to understanding the quality of the wines it produces lies in the completely manual work carried out in the vineyard – made necessary by the steep slopes of the hills – resulting in a product capable of expressing all the multiple facets that this unique terroir in the world offers. The starting point: a deep understanding of the land and the art of combining tradition and modern technologies, oenological wisdom, and innovation, to deliver truly heroic wines.
