December 13, 2024 (Pomona, CA) – The prestigious Los Angeles International Wine Competition is thrilled to announce that it is now open for entries for its 2025 competition, set to take place April 1-3, 2025. Marking an impressive milestone of 90 years, this celebrated event continues to be a cornerstone of wine recognition and promotion, both locally and internationally.
Wineries eager to expand their presence in the dynamic Los Angeles market are invited to submit their finest selections. This year, the competition is excited to reintroduce the coveted sweepstakes feature, culminating in the crowning of a “Best of Show” winner.
Important Note to Wineries: Please be aware that there are similarly named events, which are not affiliated with us. The Los Angeles International Wine Competition is the original and only wine competition that takes place in Los Angeles, proudly celebrating nine decades of excellence. Insist on entering the original competition that has set the standard for wine recognition since 1935.
Key Entry Details:
- Early Bird Entry Fee: $90 per entry for submissions received by January 13, 2025.
- Standard Entry Fee: $115 per entry for submissions received after January 13, 2025.
- Entry Deadline: February 28, 2025.
- Shipping Deadline: March 7, 2025.
In addition to its main categories, the 2025 competition proudly features mini competitions for Sake and Bordeaux wines, offering unique recognition and specialized promotion within these categories.
With a strong commitment to promoting its winners, the Los Angeles International Wine Competition ensures that award-winning wines receive unparalleled exposure. Winners are featured in the expansive wine bar and wine classes during the LA County Fair and celebrated at “Cheers” a gold-medal tasting event open to the public each June at The Farm at Fairplex. This year, as we celebrate 90 years, we will be honoring past winners while looking forward to the exciting opportunities ahead.
