November 14, 2024 – On 9 December, the international wine guide Star Wine List will award the best wine lists of the UAE for the second time, at The Lana (Dorchester Collection), in Dubai. Our expert jury has now decided the finalists.
The Star Wine List of the Year awards celebrate the great wine lists of the world – and the teams behind them. In the UAE, prizes are awarded in 10 categories, and the winners in many of those will also qualify for the International Final in June 2025. The jury, including top sommelier Ferran Centelles and local expert Vince Truong, has now finished deliberating, and the finalists have been selected.
“It is exciting to see the development of the wine and gastronomy scene in the UAE, there is so much diversity of talent and offering in this region, we can’t wait to celebrate with the sommelier teams in December!” says Krister Bengtsson, Founder and Publisher of Star Wine List.

The jury for the Star Wine List of the Year UAE 2024/’25 includes four top international wine experts:

- Nina Jensen, Second-Best Sommelier in the World 2023 (ASI)
