With a distinguished career in the wine industry and extensive experience overseeing wine programs across the United States, Jeremy brings a wealth of knowledge, mastery, and a passion for wine and spirits to his new role.

Jeremy Shanker joins T. Edward from the MINA Group, where he served as the Corporate Wine Director, overseeing the wine programs at over 30 renowned restaurants across the United States and Dubai, including the Michelin-starred MICHAEL MINA San Francisco.
A native of New York, Jeremy’s journey in the wine world began under the guidance of Laura Maniec MS, and his career quickly flourished after he moved to California. Under the mentorship of renowned sommelier and winemaker Rajat Parr, Jeremy joined MINA Group in 2015 as a sommelier at San Francisco’s revolutionary, Burgundy-themed restaurant, RN74. His dedication and commitment to excellence in the craft of wine service saw him rise through the ranks, eventually leading the wine program at Chef Michael Mina’s flagship restaurant.
One of the youngest Master Sommeliers in the world, Jeremy achieved this prestigious title in September 2019. With a Bachelor of Science in Food Studies & Nutrition from New York University, he has spent over a decade honing his skills in wine service, food and wine pairings, and building relationships with distributors across the country. Throughout his career, he has cultivated relationships with some of the most talented wine professionals and wineries around the world, providing guests with unparalleled service and selection.
Jeremy Shanker’s appointment ushers in a new era for T. Edward, driving portfolio growth and market presence. With his expertise, Jeremy will lead the national sales team to support and evolve its partnerships and strengthen T. Edward’s position as an industry leader.
