The picturesque property, previously owned by Truett-Hurst Winery, offers a serene setting where visitors can indulge in casual tastings of aesthete’s premium wines led by family members and knowledgeable wine educators on multiple patios, private gardens, picnic tables, and along the tranquil banks of Dry Creek. Guests are encouraged to explore the bountiful farm and gardens, picnic with friends and family, visit rescue goats and sheep, and, most infamously, enjoy tastings relaxed in the creekside Adirondack chairs.
At the helm of aesthete’s winemaking is renowned winemaker Jesse Katz, whose expertise and passion have elevated the brand to critical acclaim. Katz’s masterful touch is evident in every bottle, from the crisp and vibrant Sauvignon Blancs and Rosés to the elegant Pinot Noirs and Bordeaux-style barrel-aged Sauvignon Blancs. Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate gave the aesthete wines 2019 Barrel Aged Sauvignon Blanc their highest Sauvignon Blanc score for the vintage year with a 97. Wine critic Owen Bargreen recently commented that the aesthete wines 2021 Rosé of Pinot Noir, “has to be one of the great Rosé wines made in Sonoma.”

And it’s all coming together just in time for our inaugural Cabernet Sauvignon release – fittingly from Rockpile Ridge Vineyard.”
With two generations born and raised in Sonoma County, the Jones family is committed to sustainable practices and preserving the region’s natural beauty. The farm is home to a small herd of rescued goats and sheep, a restored creek and riparian ecosystem, seasonal steelhead and coho salmon, osprey, red-tail hawks, golden eagles, blue herons, white cranes, ducks, and even an occasional otter.
