October 24, 2024 — Star Wine List, the award-winning guide to great wine bars and wine restaurants, has relaunched the wine lover’s guide to Alsace. Star Wine List’s new Alsace Ambassador, sommelier Jean-Baptiste Klein, has curated a selection of 18 wine restaurants and wine bars, which have been added to the existing Alsatian venues listed on Star Wine List, to create a full guide to the region.
“Alsace is a great wine region that is, unfortunately, still too often overlooked,” says Jean-Baptiste Klein. “Yet, there is currently a very strong dynamic, and exceptional wine quality, with a diversity of wine types and great terroirs. This complexity is unique in the wine world, and this wine scene perfectly matches the very strong gastronomic tradition in our region.”
