“When Rebekah joined our team in 2022 as Tasting Room Lead, she quickly became a valuable asset to Alma Rosa,” says Debra Eagle. “As a fourth-generation Santa Ynez Valley native, she brings extensive local knowledge, community connections and over a decade of hospitality experience to her role. With experience across various facets of the wine industry, we are thrilled to have her on our team to continue to elevate our hospitality offerings.”

Rebekah began her career in the wine industry at The Ballard Inn and Restaurant under Chef Budi Kazali, where she fell in love with pairing, selling and serving wine to guests. During her tenure, she had the opportunity to meet and host many distinguished producers through the restaurant’s winemaker dinner series. She then worked at top Santa Ynez Valley restaurants including Nella in Los Olivos and First & Oak in Solvang. Looking to further her wine knowledge, she transitioned to tasting room positions at Kaena Wine and Ken Brown Wines in Buellton for several years. A self-proclaimed “Pinotphile,” Rebekah joined the Alma Rosa team in 2022 as Tasting Room Lead, and was promoted to Tasting Room Supervisor in March 2024, before quickly rising to Tasting Room Manager position in August 2024.

Rebekah holds an Associate of Arts degree in music from Santa Barbara City College and a WSET Level 1 certification. Outside of her work at the Alma Rosa tasting room and historic Ranch House, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, teaching music as a certified Music Together instructor, and making jewelry in her home studio.

About Alma Rosa Winery

Alma Rosa Winery, a leading wine producer from Santa Barbara County’s Sta. Rita Hills, is dedicated to making Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Rhône varietal wines that express the unique terroir of the appellation. Alma Rosa’s wines are layered, vibrant and balanced, reflecting the cool climate impact of the Pacific Ocean breezes that are funneled through the east-west transverse mountain range of the region. The winery was founded in 2005 by Richard Sanford, who was the first to plant Pinot Noir in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA in 1971. Today the winery is owned by Bob and Barbara Zorich, who purchased the winery in 2014. In 2019 Samra Morris took the helm as winemaker, becoming the first Bosnian winemaker in California.
