Aperture Cellars Announces Maverick Beverage Company as Exclusive Distributor in Colorado & Illinois

October 16, 2024 (Healdsburg, CA) – Aperture Cellars, the acclaimed winery known for its Bordeaux varietals and pioneering approach in Sonoma County, is proud to announce a new partnership with Maverick Beverage Company, a leader in the distribution of fine wines and spirits in key locations across the United States. As of October 1, Maverick will serve as the exclusive distributor for Aperture Cellars and Devil Proof wines in both Colorado and Illinois, further expanding Aperture’s presence in these key markets. 

Founded by first-generation winemaker Jesse Katz in 2009 and crafted from over 200 acres of unique, cool-climate vineyards in Sonoma’s top regions, Aperture has quickly identified itself as an elite wine label and world-class player boasting powerful, rich fruit characteristics with elegance and freshness. 

Maverick Beverage Company, recognized for its dedication to offering the finest wine and spirits to discerning consumers, brings a robust portfolio and deep regional expertise to this partnership, making them an ideal partner to carry Aperture wines in Colorado and Illinois. Colorado holds a deep personal significance for Aperture’s founder and head winemaker, Jesse Katz, as he hails from The Centennial State.
