The time has come to say goodbye!
October 15, 2024 — From Founder/Winemaker Ian Blackburn: “In 2020-2021, we lost most of our hard work and distribution (we were featured in over 225 top restaurants in California, Vegas, Texas, and Arizona) and many of our distribution partners were injured or even went away. We also lost our fruit in the 2020 fires … so we took a large step back and we waited to see how the world responded. Sadly, a path forward just has not appeared.”
Beekeeper wines are made with the utmost of integrity, but the large investment needed to propel us safely into the proper position, is just too great for us at this time. We sought financial partners, investors, and other options but the fact remains that the hill is just too high for us to climb. We will take a longer pause and see what opportunities come forward. Until then, we are putting our remaining inventory on final sale for this offering (all sales final) …. We plan to start shipping on Monday, Nov 11th and the store will close when the inventory is depleted.
“We loved being ranked amongst the best in Zinfandel; We love our community, and the other Zinfandel producers we love and respect. We are very proud of our ten-year run; we enjoyed pumping some quality energy into the premium Zinfandel category. We were the little brand that could… we helped ZINFANDEL push to a higher level, and we hope to see ZINFANDEL prosper into the future.” Says Blackburn.
“To all our friends, fans, and clients – past and present – we thank you and we hope to reemerge when the time is right. Until we meet again…. drink well and may our wines continue to tell great stories!” Thank you for ten + great years!
