St. Helena Hospital Foundation Partners with Honig Vineyard and Winery to Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

St. Helena, CA – October 2, 2024 – The St. Helena Hospital Foundation proudly announces a collaboration with Honig Vineyard and Winery in support of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Honig is committing to donate a portion of sales from their 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Pink to support mammograms for women who cannot afford them. This initiative is part of the broader campaign to raise awareness about the importance of early detection in breast cancer treatment.

The Adventist Health St. Helena Women’s Imaging Center, located in St. Helena, is a state-of-the-art facility accredited by the American College of Radiology in 2D and 3D Mammography, Stereotactic Biopsy, Breast Ultrasound, and Breast Ultrasound-Guided Biopsy.  ACR accreditation helps assure patients that the facility offers the highest level of image quality and safety by documenting that the facility meets requirements for equipment, medical personnel, and quality assurance.

Thanks to the generosity of St. Helena Hospital Foundation supporters, the Women’s Imaging Center provides comprehensive breast health services in one convenient, coordinated location.

“We are so grateful for the support Honig provides women in our community,” said Glen Newhart, President, and CEO of St. Helena Hospital Foundation. “Thanks to their generosity, everyone can now access the latest state-of-the-art diagnostic technology right here in the Napa Valley.”

The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Pink showcases a vibrant blend of grapes sourced from a variety of vineyards throughout Napa Valley, reflecting the region’s diverse appellations and unique microclimates. With harvest dates spanning from September 21 to October 18, 2023, and an average Brix at harvest of 23.4, this wine promises a refreshing and exquisite tasting experience.

“We’re honored to partner with the St. Helena Hospital Foundation in the fight against breast cancer,” said Michael Honig, President, Honig Vineyard and Winery, “We look forward to continuing this partnership to help provide care for our community.”

Honig Vineyard and Winery invites wine lovers and community supporters alike to indulge in this special release while making a meaningful impact. The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Pink is available for purchase at the winery and on the website, and the winery will double their donation for wine purchased during the month of October.
