YOUNTVILLE, CA, September 24, 2024 – Bardessono Hotel & Spa, a luxury wellness oasis located in the heart of Napa Valley, partners with Lawrence Wine Estates (LWE), a leading portfolio of historical and multi-generational fine wine estates in the region, to launch “Vintages in the Villa.” Meticulously crafted to deepen guests’ connection with the local landscape and provide an exceptional, enriching wine education and tasting experience, “Vintages in the Villa” offers unparalleled access to one of the world’s most esteemed wine regions: Napa Valley.
Guests will enjoy one-on-one fine wine education right in the comfort of their Bardessono Maple Grove Villa, before embarking on specially curated tours and tastings at Heitz Cellar and Stony Hill Vineyard, two fine wine estates within the LWE portfolio. The in-villa ‘Sommelier Series’ tasting experiences will be personally led by Heitz Cellar Estate Director and Master Sommelier Erik Elliott.

“Vintages in the Villa”guests will be treated to two nights of spacious, overnight accommodations in one of Bardessono Hotel & Spa’s three Maple Grove Villas, boasting a king bedroom, living room and dining area, spa bathroom, private courtyard complete with a spa tub, as well as floor-to-ceiling glass doors that weave the indoors and outdoors into one immersive experience.
The experience kicks off with a one-hour in-villa Sommelier Series tasting led by Master Sommelier Elliott, with the option of: ‘A Heitz Exploration of Napa Valley,’ a guided masterclass to the greatest appellations in Napa Valley, or ‘The Art of Tasting,’ a deep-dive into tasting wine like a Master Sommelier. The Sommelier Series includes food pairings by the hotel’s acclaimed Lucy Restaurant and Bar, whose field-to-fork dining is led by the hotel’s executive chef Rick Edge.
Guests will then be escorted to a two-hour tasting at Heitz Cellar to experience The Rutherford Legacy at Trailside Vineyard & The Salon, applying their new wine insights as they explore the historic Trailside Vineyard, some of the most coveted terroir in Napa Valley from the comfort of a Lexus LX 600 & RZ 450e. Following the vineyard visit will be a vertical tasting of the Trailside Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon at The Salon at Heitz Cellar. Rates for “Vintages in the Villa” start at $14,500 for two guests.
“Vintages in the Villa: Ultimate Wine Enthusiast”
Guests seeking a lengthier stay and further immersion into the world of wine can opt for Vintages in the Villa: Ultimate Wine Enthusiast. The enhanced experience features four nights in a Maple Grove Villa, as well as two in-villa Sommelier Series tastings, led by Master Sommelier Elliott: ‘The Art of Tasting,’ and ‘A 25-Year Exploration of the Legendary Heitz Cellar Martha’s Vineyard,’ a rare tasting of very special single vineyard wines spanning vintages from 2000-2019 with an exclusive pre-release taste.
The ‘Ultimate Wine Enthusiast’ edition includes two winery visits: to Heitz Cellar for The Rutherford Legacy at Trailside Vineyard & The Salon experience and to Stony Hill Vineyard for the Terroir Experience. Guests will journey through the historic Stony Hill Vineyard from the comfort of a Lexus GX550 Luxury+, followed by a private tasting at The Residence. Enjoy five wines from the limited portfolio, including rare library vintages, with cheese and charcuterie to pair.
