Savoia Vino Aperitivo Celebrates Third Anniversary with New Spirit of Savoia Program

From now through December 21st, bartenders and consumers can take part in the program for a chance to win various prizes

NEW YORK, NEW YORK [September 21, 2024] – Today, Savoia Vino Aperitivo announces its “Spirit of Savoia” program in honor of the brand’s third anniversary. From now until December 21st, the brand will celebrate Italian Aperitivo Culture by launching a competition that highlights Savoia’s simplicity, versatility, and social connection, showcasing how adding just one ingredient can transform the entire cocktail experience.

Where tradition meets innovation, the “Spirit of Savoia” anniversary embodies the essence of the Italian aperitivo with every sip, capturing its soul, personality and heart. Drawing inspiration from visionary figures like Garibaldi, a key figure in Italian unification, and Marco Polo’s legendary Silk Road journeys, Savoia channels their spirit through the vision of its founder, Giuseppe Gallo. Founded in 2021 by Italian spirits expert Giuseppe Gallo, Savoia Vino Aperitivo was created as a ready-to-serve cocktail and can be used as a vermouth in mixology.

Savoia makes it easy to reinvent classic cocktails by encouraging consumers to embrace simplicity and versatility. For a Negroni, just add gin; for a Spritz, add prosecco; for an Americano, add soda or tonic; and for a Manhattan, just add whiskey.

As part of the “Spirit of Savoia” program, the brand will launch on-trade and off-trade competitions and giveaways for bartenders and consumers alike. Bartenders will be challenged to create a simple cocktail that enhances Savoia’s flavor with just one additional ingredient.

From September 21, the anniversary of SAVOIA’s creation, until December 21, bartenders can register for the program via the Spirit of Savoia website. The platform is open to bars in Italy, Greece, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Spain, and the United States, with more markets to follow. This gives bartenders worldwide the chance to showcase their creativity and skills. Participating bars will gain increased exposure, with their cocktail creations featured on the world-renowned Difford’s Guide, boosting their visibility among cocktail enthusiasts. One winning bar from each participating market will have the opportunity to host a masterclass or guest shift event led by one of the Top 50 Bars in the World.

To celebrate Savoia’s +1 element, the brand has teamed up with Marc Alvarez, co-owner of SIPS Barcelona—voted number one Best Bar in the World in the 2023 World 50 Best Bars ranking—to create two exclusive cocktails, Theobromine and Pickle, with Savoia and one more ingredient.

The campaign will also engage off-trade communities, encouraging consumers to share their favorite Savoia moments (whether at home or in a bar) via social media by tagging @casa.savoia. Consumers have the chance to win a voucher worth 150 Euros/USD to enjoy at a top bar in the world, with one winner selected each month for a total of three winners during the campaign.
