Mezzacorona Unveils New Branding for Leading Italian Pinot Grigio Domenica

Reflecting the Purest Soul of Pinot Grigio from Trentino

NEW YORK (September 25, 2024) – Leading Italian wine producer Mezzacorona is thrilled to unveil new branding for Domenica Pinot Grigio, beginning with a new label design for their 2023 vintage, elevating the brand’s story and capturing the essence of its Alpine origins. Sourced from hand-selected vineyards nestled at the foot of the Italian Alps, Domenica Pinot Grigio is a true reflection of the Trentino region’s unique terroir and Mezzacorona’s unwavering commitment to sustainable viticulture and quality.

The vineyards sourced to craft Domenica are located at an average elevation of 820 feet above sea level where the grapes flourish in the Trentino Alpine climate, imparting a distinct freshness and minerality to the wine. The 2023 vintage of Domenica Pinot Grigio offers a balance of acidity and freshness, embodying the very essence of Trentino DOC. This wine showcases a fully developed bouquet of aromas and an elegant, rich mouthfeel, making it a true representation of the heights of distinction achievable in this Alpine region.

“The new label for Domenica Pinot Grigio represents a strategic enhancement to the brand’s identity, reflecting the sophistication and heritage that our consumers expect,” said Andrew Meyer, Chief Sales Officer of Prestige Wine Imports, the exclusive importer of Mezzacorona wines to the United States.

The redesigned label emphasizes the Domenica name, making it the hero of the brand and positioning it as the pinnacle of Pinot Grigio from Trentino. Visually, the label makes a powerful statement with its impactful cut die, embossing printing, varnished elements, and a dramatic color palette, creating a compelling narrative around the soul of Trentino.

“We’re excited to introduce a dynamic label that uses bold imagery and lettering to reflect the Italian Alpine Style and establish a unique sense of place,” said Barbara Darra, Global Marketing Manager for Mezzacorona. “We believe this refreshed look will deeply resonate with consumers who value both quality and a connection to the land.”

Domenica proudly carries the SQNPI certification, a testament to the sustainable quality of Pinot Grigio Trentino DOC and Mezzacorona’s sustainable farming practices. Shaped by Trentino’s distinctive climate, the influence of the Dolomites, and ideal exposure from the valleys, this wine achieves the perfect balance.

Domenica Pinot Grigio 2023 has an SRP of $15 and will be available for purchase nationwide this Fall. For more information, please visit https://www.domenica.wine/.
