Geneva, September 25, 2024 – Baghera/Wines is proud to announce the successful wrapping up of its auction, dedicated to the prestigious “Cave de la Largeur” collection from Monaco. Held from September 16 to 20, this sale took place exclusively online – it attracted collectors and fine wine enthusiasts from around the world, once again confirming Baghera/wines’ position among the global leaders in rare wine auctions. Notably, there was a significant increase in the registration of new online bidders.

Divided into five WOC (Wine O’Clock) sales over five consecutive days of online auctions, the sale brought together a unique spectrum of the finest examples of wines and champagnes, among the most sought after in the world. The lots offered included a unique selection of internationally renowned vintages from the greatest houses and vineyards. Burgundy and Bordeaux wines, in particular, generated significant interest, resulting in intense competition among bidders.

The star-lot of the WOC #83 sale on September 17, an assortment of 18 bottles from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 2017, was sold for CHF 56,120, shattering its low estimate of CHF 36,000.
