September 16, 2024 – On September 15, Star Wine List of the Year celebrated the best wine lists in the Baltic countries with an awards ceremony held in Riga. The Grand Prix was won by Time to Wine Rotermanni in Tallinn, Estonia, with Gold Stars awarded to 12 other Baltic restaurants and wine bars in the other categories.

“The majority of submitted wine lists have great balance between classic/well-established and new-wave producers, and are very inclusive. Guests seem to have good or very good options regardless of the size of the list and location. There is a clear passion and enthusiasm for wine in all Baltic countries,” said jury member Piotr Pietras MS.

Star Wine List of the Year is a celebration of the great wine lists of the world and the teams behind them. Prizes in the Baltics were awarded in nine categories, with each category winner receiving a Gold Star. Many also qualified for the Star Wine List International Final, to be held in June 2025. The event was held in association with the Latvian Sommelier association. Wynns and Austrian Wine were category sponsors.
