(Sept. 12, 2024; Mendoza, Argentina)—Bodega Trivento, the world’s number one selling Argentinian wine brand, is excited to announce that the winery has been named an Impact “Hot Prospects” award winner for 2023 for its Reserve and Golden Reserve tiers of wines. Through ongoing investments in infrastructure, vineyards and people, Certified B Corporation Bodega Trivento continues to drive innovation and growth in the Argentinian wine category both in the U.S. and across 60 global markets.
Every year, Impact, a trade newsletter published by M. Shanken Communications, recognizes the fastest-growing brands within the drinks business with its “Hot Prospects” awards. To be eligible for this coveted accolade, imported brands must have demonstrated depletions of at least 50,000, but not over 200,000 cases in 2023, and at least a 15% growth in depletions in 2023 and consistent growth in the two preceding years.
“We are proud to see both Bodega Trivento’s Reserve and Golden Reserve tiers of wines receive an Impact Hot Prospects award this year,” says Marcos Jofré, CEO of Bodega Trivento. “Our wines are the culmination of the Bodega Trivento team’s innovative spirit, commitment to winemaking excellence and dedication to producing wines that are representative of the remarkable vineyards and landscapes of Mendoza. We look forward to sharing Bodega Trivento’s portfolio with more Americans across the country as we continue to expand distribution in the U.S. market.”
The wines that met the criteria for this year’s Hot Prospects award include the winery’s ultra-premium Golden Reserve Malbec (SRP $20), premium Trivento Reserve Malbec (SRP $11), Trivento Reserve Maximum Red Blend (SRP $11), Trivento Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (SRP $11), as well as its innovative Trivento Reserve White Malbec (SRP $11), a product that created a new category for Argentinian Malbec and has seen steady growth and market expansion in the U.S. since launching in 2023.
“Trivento’s growth in the U.S. reflects the passion and quality behind the brand, and being named a 2023 Hot Prospects brand is a meaningful recognition of our progress and potential in this market,” said Rodrigo Maturana, President of Marketing for Viña Concha y Toro USA. “We’re incredibly excited about Trivento’s continued momentum and look forward to bringing the best of Argentine winemaking to many more U.S. consumers in the years to come.”
About Bodega Trivento
Rooted in the energy of Argentina’s passion for wine, Trivento—meaning three winds—is synonymous with expressive, terroir-driven Malbec that paints a vivid portrait of Mendoza’s high-altitude vineyards in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. The character and quality of each wine is guided by the spirited vision of Chief Winemaker Germán di Cesare, who honors the varied soils, mountain snowmelt and powerful winds that shape Mendoza’s vines.
In the United States, three distinct Trivento collections highlight the unique characteristics of two coveted sub-regions in Mendoza, Luján de Cuyo and Uco Valley: Eolo, a single-vineyard luxury Malbec from century-old vines; Golden Reserve, a passionate expression of historic Malbec vines and Reserve, a beloved collection from estate vines. All Trivento’s wines are Vegan Certified by The Vegan Society. Founded in 1996, Trivento today welcomes visitors to experience the wine and culture of Mendoza at Bodega Trivento in Maipú or through a virtual tour.
