- Establishing a “Shark Tank” style program where teams of cross-functional employees propose solutions to key sustainability challenges facing the company and bring their ideas to fruition through a pitching process to the Leadership Team executives
- Funding a TWE employee’s idea to create a fluidized bed reactor from a prototype, increasing energy efficiency and energy savings while preserving wine without the need for any additives and increasing yields
- Partnering with local universities such as UC Davis to sponsor PhD and Master’s students, creating a funnel for sourcing talent and innovation from one of the world’s leading wine programs
- Creating the TWEforMe Community, representing eight Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to drive connection between employees and leadership and establish a greater sense of belonging
