Star Wine List Celebrated Denmark’s Top Wine Lists

September 3, 2024 – On September 2, Star Wine List of the Year celebrated the great wine lists in Denmark. The Grand Prix was won by Bistro Boheme in Copenhagen, and Geranium won gold in three categories.

“This is my third year judging Star Wine List Denmark and the quality of the lists sent never cease to surprise me. The depth of knowledge and passion it takes to create all of these lists – may they be short or long – is evident and greatly appreciated. Denmark has been known for years as a center for gastronomy in Europe and with such a fantastic wine culture too, Danish consumers are definitely spoiled. Well done to all Sommeliers and Wine Directors and more importantly thank you for sharing your passion with such brio,” said jury member Julie Dupouy-Young.

Star Wine List of the Year is the celebration of the great wine lists in the world and the teams behind them. The prize was awarded in eleven categories, and the winners in each category got a Gold Star and several also qualified for the international final (to be held in June 2025). The event was held together with the Danish Sommelier Championship.
