Benoit Raises a Glass to the Wine Regions of France with a New Intimate Series of Wine-Centric Events

August 29, 2024 – Benoit, one of Manhattan’s most-loved French restaurants by legendary chef and restaurateur, Alain Ducasse, have announced a brand new wine series, starting with an exploration of Bordeaux, on September 27th. Each tasting, held monthly throughout 2024, will be held in the Benoit private dining rooms, boasting vibrant images from La Côte Basque by artist Bernard Lamotte, and floor to ceiling French oak molded by master artisans; the perfect fitting for an exploration of France’s finest export.

The series, created by Restaurant Manager Julien Moreno, is designed to take guests on a whistle stop tour of France’s most loved wine regions, and each evening will include an intimate tasting of four wines, two white, two red, hosted by Julien and Benoit’s sommelier team, with accompanying ‘bites’ created to perfectly pair with the wines. September will focus on Bordeaux wines served with beef Bordelaise and goat cheese bites, October will hone in on Rhone wines with charcuterie and quenelles bites, November will be dedicated to Bourgogne wines with escargots and beef Bourguignon bites, and December will close out the year, appropriately, with Champagne alongside cheese and chocolate bites.

These special evenings will include a 1 hour 30 minute session, and are the perfect opportunity to spend time amongst fellow wine enthusiasts, or as a gift for a loved one of Francophile.

The Benoit wine series will be held in the private dining room on September 27th, October 25th, November 22nd and December 27th. All tastings will begin at 6.30pm and tickets are $95pp. Reservations for the September event can be made via OpenTable here. Tickets for all other dates will be released on the Benoit website soon.
