Jason Gorski, Vice President of Winemaking, DeLille Cellars

Woodinville, Wash. – August 15, 2024 – DeLille Cellars is delighted to announce the promotion of Jason Gorski to vice president of winemaking. This promotion recognizes Gorski’s exceptional skill, leadership, and numerous contributions to DeLille’s growth and success.

Gorski joined DeLille Cellars in 2011 as an assistant winemaker and most recently served as the director of winemaking and viticulture. His commitment to excellence and relentless pursuit of improvement have helped cement DeLille as a benchmark producer of world-class wine from Washington State.

During his 13 years at DeLille, Gorski’s efforts have led to more than 700 wines receiving scores of 90 points or higher from major critics, and several placements on prestigious Top 100 lists.

“Jason is one of the most passionate and hardworking individuals I know, and it has been a great pleasure working with him for over a decade,” said Tom Dugan, chief executive officer at DeLille Cellars. “Our success as a business starts with great people and great wine, and we are incredibly fortunate to have him leading our winemaking team.”

Gorski has been instrumental to DeLille’s growth, and his efforts have not only scaled the winery’s production but also elevated its quality, garnering DeLille Cellars a reputation as one of the leading wineries in Washington State. Since joining DeLille, Gorski has led several winery expansions; the creation of many new wines, including the iconic Marguerite, an extended-aged Sauvignon Blanc considered by some to be the best white wine from Washington; and the development of the winery’s Métier label, nationally the fastest-growing Washington brand.

“DeLille Cellars has been my home for over a decade, and it has been a great joy to grow with the winery,” said Gorski. “I am very fortunate to work with an exceptional team and amazing vineyard partners, and I am excited about the bright future of Washington wine and DeLille.”

As vice president of winemaking, Gorski will continue to lead the winemaking efforts at DeLille, ensuring that the winery remains committed to producing the highest quality wine and furthering the company’s mission to be the most recognized, accessible, and loved wine company from Washington State.
