Annual Harvest Barbecue features new experiences in Suttons Bay
August 6, 2024 — The team at Shady Lane Cellars has made it a tradition to toast to the coming Harvest Season and this year, the much-loved Harvest Barbecue is set for Sept. 1. Attendees will be treated to wines by the glass, live music throughout the day and a barbecue dinner from 4-7 p.m. All ages are welcome to enjoy the festivities.
New this year, the Harvest Barbecue will feature an array of experiences. Take a self-guided mini-tour of the winery and vineyard, cool off with a wine slushie, dig into slow-smoked barbecue and experience an exclusive pour from Shady Lane Cellars’ library of wines or new releases. Capture all the excitement at the outdoor photo booth and share it on social media for a chance to win prizes.

WINE CLUB: Members of Shady Lane Cellars Wine Club are invited to join in the festivities as part of their membership, and pick up their September wine shipment in advance. The club has gained more than 200 new members since last year.
Shady Lane Cellars wines are 100 percent estate-grown. The vineyard is one of three Michigan wineries to hold Sustainability in Practice – or SIP Certified – status. Hours are Noon to 6 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
