Opici Wines & Spirits Announces Strategic New Hires to Drive Continued Growth

Ron Livingston is Appointed Director of Sales, Pacific Southwest, and
Marilyn Krieger is Named Director of Public Relations and Communications

Glen Rock, NJ – August 5, 2024 – Opici Wines & Spirits is excited to announce two key additions to its team. As the new Director of Sales, Pacific Southwest, Ron Livingston will oversee sales, distributor partnerships, business development, and market activities in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii. In her role as Director of Public Relations and Communications, Marilyn Krieger will work cross-functionally to promote awareness, drive engagement, and foster sales growth for the organization and its brands.

Livingston is a seasoned sales executive who spent the past 10 years as Vice President, Sales West at Vintage Wine Estates, overseeing 16 states. Prior to that, he held key roles as National Director of Regional Accounts for Delicato Family Vineyards and National Account Manager for Fosters Wine Estates. Drawing on his deep industry knowledge and relationships, Livingston has a proven track record of driving brand growth and revenue. Based in Southern California, where he was born and raised, Livingston holds a master’s degree in business administration and is a military veteran with the U.S. Navy Reserve. He will report to Jerry La Vecchia, Vice President of National Sales, Wholesale.
 
Krieger, based in New York City, is an accomplished public relations and communications professional, specializing in storytelling, thought leadership, media relations, partnerships, events, and DEI advocacy.  During her 16-year tenure at Winebow, Krieger collaborated with more than 125 wineries and distilleries from 11 countries worldwide and spearheaded the organization’s annual Women in Wine Leadership Symposium. She also spent time at Gallo, where she oversaw trade media and events, focusing on the company’s luxury portfolio. Krieger is a longstanding member of the Public Relations Society of America and the New York chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier. Before transitioning into the wine industry, she earned a PhD in Italian from Columbia University. She will be reporting to Amanda Panicali, Vice President of Marketing.
