Visit Calistoga’s 1,000 Foot-Long Harvest Table® Celebrates Its Tenth Anniversary September 8

Ticket Sales for Calistoga’s biggest dinner party go on sale July 26
Those who can’t snag a seat at the table can still stroll and sip from over a dozen wineries.

Calistoga, Calif. (July 23, 2024) — Imagine gathering in the charming town of Calistoga with more than 800 friends, old and new, at a 1,000-foot-long table spanning several blocks down the center of downtown’s Lincoln Avenue Add some of the most delicious seasonal foods and celebrated wines, and that’s a night to remember. The September 8th event marks the tenth anniversary of the Calistoga Harvest Table,® which is sponsored by Visit Calistoga and the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce. Launched in 2014 by the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce to highlight local restaurants and wineries, the dinner took a two-year hiatus during the pandemic and came back stronger than ever in 2022. The first year saw 700 guests. 875 tickets were sold for last year’s event.
Beginning at noon on July 26, guests may view complete menus and purchase tickets at www.visitcalistoga.com to dine at a table hosted by one of 12 local restaurants offering everything from classic Californian and French-Creole to elevated Barbecue and Mexican fare, all celebrating the freshest Napa Valley cuisine. Each restaurant also offers a thoughtfully crafted vegetarian menu. Depending upon the restaurant, tickets are $175 or $200, inclusive of tax and tip.  Wine and beer are not included, but 14 top wineries will offer wine for purchase by the glass or bottle at stations set along Lincoln Ave. Social hour begins at 4:30pm and dinner is served at 6pm.

While seats to the Harvest Table often sell out within days of being announced, the event offers even those without dinner tickets the rare opportunity to sample wines from a number of different wineries and stroll the downtown area with a glass of wine in hand under late summer skies. Many downtown restaurants remain open for dining at their locations during the event and local shops and boutiques will keep their doors open for browsing.

Beer sales will benefit this year’s featured non-profit, Celebrate! Napa Valley, whose mission is to “enrich the community, preserve traditions, and cultivate connection through the celebration of Napa Valley’s world-renowned heritage and culture.”

“In an area known for its food, wine, and hospitality, I have to say that the Calistoga Harvest Table is the Napa Valley’s most festive event,” said President & CEO at Calistoga Chamber of Commerce and Visit Calistoga Eric Reichert.  “Every year, I look forward to seeing locals and visitors mingling and enjoying all the best foods and wines we have to offer against the backdrop of the Mayacamas Mountains.”
