Prestige Beverage Group Named Exclusive U.S. Importer for S.A. PRÜM Wines

PAUL, Minnesota – July 17, 2024 – Prestige Beverage Group announced today that it has  been appointed the exclusive U.S. importer of the Middle Mosel’s S.A. PRÜM and the Raimund PRÜM portfolio, eLective as of July 1. Prestige Beverage Group will oversee all  sales and field marketing eLorts across the United States. 

S.A. Prüm is a revered and iconic VDP (Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter) German  winery renowned for its exceptional Rieslings from holdings in the most historic vineyards  in Germany with VDP Grosse Lage oLerings from Lay, Domprobst, Himmelreich, and  Sonnenuhr vineyards.

Founded in 1911 by Sebastian Alois Prüm, S.A. PRÜM is now led by fourth-generation  winemaker Saskia Andrea Prüm. The winery is a founding member of the VDP, an  organization that defines the highest quality standards for German wines. With nearly 800  years of accumulated family expertise, S.A. PRÜM has expanded its estate vineyards in the  Mosel region to nearly 28 acres.

S.A. PRÜM’s portfolio includes wines from the top Grand Cru vineyard sites in the Mosel  region, many of which hold the prestigious “GG” (Grosses Gewächs) classification. Hand harvested from steep hillside slopes, these award-winning wines have consistently  received high praise and “best buy” scores from Wine Spectator and have been recognized  as best in class by Wine Enthusiast, with ratings between 92 and 97 points for both dry and  sweet wines from the famed Wehlen Sonnenuhr vineyard. 

Prestige Beverage Group will now import a variety of S.A. PRÜM wines, including Raimund  Prüm Essence and Solitär Riesling, S.A. PRÜM Blue Riesling Trocken, Wehlen Sonnenuhr-Prädikat Wines, Wehlener Sonnenuhr GG Dry Rieslings, Graacher Domprobst GG Dry Riesling, and their renowned “Stickies” dessert wines.
