Calistoga, Calif. – (July 17, 2024) – Kenefick Ranch, a family owned and operated vineyard located in Napa Valley’s northernmost American Viticultural Area (AVA) – Calistoga, today announced the release of its highly anticipated 2021 Cabernet Franc, Caitlin’s Select. Retailing for $50 per bottle, the Cabernet Franc exemplifies the fine craftsmanship the family-owned winery has become known for over the years.

The 2021 Caitlin’s Select is crafted from 83% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot and 9% Merlot. It is not common to see varietal based Cabernet Francs anywhere generally outside of France. The combination of Kenefick Ranch’s unique soil, climate, heat exposure, and lean soils contribute to a very balanced vintage. The wine reveals flavors of Rainier cherries, red fruit jam and notes of dark chocolate. Balanced with seamlessly integrated tannins, it accentuates the fruit flavors on the palate and delivers a long, elegant finish.
