Rutherford, CA, July 9, 2024 – The Federalist, America’s preeminent craft wine, is proud to unveil its new brand design and campaign, ‘Boldly Refined,’ to celebrate the evolution in the craft wine industry.
The Federalist is evolving to a new frontier with a fresh look as depicted in The Federalist’s latest creative campaign and ad spot, Boldly Refined. The updated label and American-inspired iconography campaign encourages consumers to reach for the bold—at home, on the go, and in their glass.
“We are thrilled to introduce The Federalists’ newly reimagined look and feel with the launch of our ‘Boldy Refined’ campaign,” said Drew Stephen, Marketing Director. ”This new aesthetic truly embodies our identity and communicates our unique winemaking philosophy to consumers. The Federalist continues to be as bold as our wine tastes, with the goal of inspiring Americans to elevate their everyday moments into bold celebrations.”
The refined new look now matches the premium quality that the brand is known for, while also boldly moving the brand forward to reach new consumers. The new label begins with The Federalist logo, proudly positioned at the forefront of the label in eye-catching gold foil. An embossed gold eagle welcomes consumers, capturing the spirit of America mirrored in the brand’s craft. With an expanded label, taking up a notably larger space on the bottle, the new design communicates the premium quality with prominently displayed tasting notes. To enhance the consumer experience, a dynamic QR code on the rear label offers convenient access to additional information via the website and engaging video content.
The Federalist Wines are handcrafted in a small-batch, boutique production process to bring the boldest and brightest flavors to your table. A new Oak regiment has been implemented to improve overall mouthfeel and smoothness, and the brand’s best in class bourbon barrel aged portfolio results in longer aging and higher quality overall.
With Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc as the newest additions to The Federalist portfolio, the collection currently includes the following varietals:
- Cabernet Sauvignon: A rich, full-bodied wine with hints of black cherry and cassis
- Red Blend: Dark fruits and hints of baking spices with a rich, round mouthfeel and long finish
- Zinfandel: Aromas of red fruits (plum, cherry) and cinnamon spice, a good density, firm tannin structure, and a long smooth finish
- Pinot Noir: Boasts a dark fruit flavor with rich notes of black cherry, a touch of floral and oak
- Chardonnay: Fresh and full-bodied with an aroma of lemon, pear, and a touch of cinnamon
- Sauvignon Blanc: Features bright, bold aromas of melon and grapefruit
- Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon: Rests in charred oak, giving way to smoky vanilla notes along with that distinct berry aroma
- Bourbon Barrel-Aged Red Blend: Smoky and spicy, this bold blend of Merlot, Zinfandel, and Cabernet Sauvignon initially tastes of bright fruit and ends with an unbelievably smooth finish
- Bourbon Barrel-Aged Zinfandel: A blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Merlot, this wine has aromas and flavors of black fruit, smoke, caramel, and vanilla
The Federalist’s ‘Boldly Refined’ campaign will come to life through bold moments and partnerships throughout 2024 to reclaim the American table. Consumers can find The Federalist Wines with its new label design at retailers nationwide beginning this Summer.
