Vintners Institute Academy Announces Instructors

Vintners Institute provides career counseling, workforce outreach, and expert wine industry instructors.

Wednesday, June 26, 2024 – Ingenuity and the entrepreneurial spirit of the independent vintner is the lifeblood and future of the wine industry. The next generation requires bold leadership, environmental stewardship, and business resilience to survive. The Vintners Institute provides an accessible online workforce training program, backed by world-class instructors.

Vintners Institute’s 100%-asynchronous online courses, which will be offered in both English and Spanish, provide instruction in growing, making and selling of wine. Please welcome our new instruction team:

VIA 1 – Intro to Winegrowing: Tyler Kyle brings her global perspective as a bilingual wine educator and hospitality instructor. (Enroll here: Starts August 12th)
VIA 2 – Four Seasons of Grape Growing: Miguel Garcia, PhD, brings his soil health and regenerative agriculture experience to viticulture.
VIA 3 – Seven Stages of Winemaking: Leticia Chacón-Rodríguez has diverse experience in all aspects of wine production, from lab scale to full-scale production.
VIA 4 – Selling With a Sense of Place: Monika Elling is a published author who brings a C-suite caliber of branding, global marketing, and bold business leadership.
Career Pathways Counseling & Outreach: Wes Hagen has first-hand experience as a viticulturist, winemaker, and salesman who has developed an engaging following by teaching wine and making it fun.
