Corollary Declares July “Magnum Month”, Offering Rare Magnum Club Membership and Exclusive Vineyard Magnum Tastings.

Portland, OR (June 24, 2024) – In a bold move that marks a monumental year, including planting the first vines on their 57-acre Eola-Amity property and the grand opening of their architecturally renowned all-sparkling tasting room, Corollary Wines announces the release of their entire selection of 2017 vintage wines in magnum bottles. Declaring July “Magnum Month,” they will host celebratory events, offer an exclusive magnum membership opportunity, and provide unique tasting experiences at their new tasting room.

“Magnums are a significant part of our dedication to sparkling wine in its highest form,” says Dan Diephouse, winemaker and co-owner of Corollary. “The cork in a magnum lets in the same amount of oxygen as a standard 750mL bottle—but with twice the wine volume, magnums are ideal for extended cellaring. The wines we’re releasing today spent 60-72 months en tirage. They are expressive, elegant, and will continue to evolve on cork for 20+ years. We love the idea of collecting, gifting, and enjoying magnums for special moments and are excited to kick off the first Corollary Magnum Month, which we intend to make a tradition for many years to come.”

Sparkling wine enthusiasts now have the rare opportunity to join an exclusive Corollary Magnum Club, unlocking access to unique wine experiences and events. Members will have exclusive early access to Magnum Club membership, magnum tasting experiences at the vineyard, magnum flights at Heavenly Creatures in Portland, and tickets to their epic pre-International Pinot Noir Celebration magnum dinner at Pinch in McMinnville, OR. Magnum Club access and event tickets are now available at CorollaryWines.com.

Since 2017, co-winemakers and owners Jeanne Feldkamp and Dan Diephouse have bottled an extremely limited quantity of each of their wines in magnum. Today, they are thrilled to release the first full vintage of these special wines through a new Magnum Club, which will be limited to 20 members.

Corollary’s new magnum releases include:

  • 2017 Cuvée One Extended Tirage ($160, 61 available)

About Corollary Wines:

Corollary Wines, founded by Dan Diephouse and Jeanne Feldkamp, has been creating distinctive traditional method sparkling wines in Oregon’s Willamette Valley since 2017. The couple began their path to winemaking by learning as much as possible about sparkling wine through tastings, visiting their favorite Champagne grower-producers and eventually experimenting with traditional-method sparkling cider in their garage. They are dedicated to exploring the terroir of the region and its expression in every bottle. Intention, care, and precision are paramount in every detail in their process—from grape growing to winemaking to the guest experience.

Corollary currently produces about 2000 cases annually. They are committed to working with growers who follow sustainable farming practices. As an extension of this commitment, they recently purchased an expansive 57-acre property in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA that has been planted specifically for sparkling wines. Management of the property will be guided by regenerative agriculture principles. Corollary just opened its tasting room in May 2024. Corollary offers a 6 or 12 bottle wine club where members get first access to new and limited release wines, including magnums and extended tirage bottlings.
