June 18th – Stone Edge Farm Estate Vineyards & Winery, a renowned winery committed to crafting premium wines that reflect the unique terroir of Sonoma Valley and a dedication towards sustainability, is thrilled to announce the promotion of Dorothe Cicchetti to General Manager.
Born in Germany, Dorothe and her family moved to Sonoma in 1982, where she was raised at her family’s historic Buena Vista Winery. She grew up in the industry and has extensive knowledge and appreciation of both local and international wines. Having studied design in San Francisco at CCA Dorothe appreciates the artistry that goes into fine winemaking which led her back to her roots. Today she has been professionally working in the wine industry for two decades, previously at The Donum Estate doing National Sales.
Dorothe joined Stone Edge Farm in 2011, serving as Director of Sales & Marketing. Throughout her tenure, she has helped launch the direct-to-consumer business model at Stone Edge Farm, and further develop the company’s overall brand identity into what it is today – a boutique winery dedicated to developing exceptional, European-style estate-grown wines.
In her new role as General Manager, Dorothe will oversee sales and marketing for the winery, increasing her responsibility to manage a team of five employees, finding alignment for Stone Edge Farm’s long-term objectives. This promotion comes at a pivotal time for Stone Edge Farm, as the winery strives to grow and expand its portfolio within wine country.
