The 30th annual event will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 and proceeds will benefit underserved children across the East Bay community.
Livermore, CA, June 17, 2024 – Livermore Valley Winegrowers Foundation has announced that tickets to their annual wine auction, which raises funds to improve the quality of life for underserved children across the East Bay, are on sale now. The auction will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 6:00pm at Wente Vineyards Event Center in Livermore Valley. Tickets can be purchased at lvwf.org.
Since 1995, the Livermore Valley Wine Auction has raised over $6 million to support underserved local children. The 2024 auction will benefit six deserving organizations, including Teen Esteem+ as the fund-a-need beneficiary. Teen Esteem+ empowers students, parents, educators, and communities to address youth challenges and risks. Funded by donations and fees, it provides relief, understanding, and hope to thousands annually.
The auction will also benefit the following organizations.
- Agape Villages Foster Family Agency offers Enhanced Treatment Foster Care through comprehensive programs including counseling, life skills training, and enrichment activities, all supported by dedicated, well-trained resource parents to help children heal, grow, and thrive.
- Boys and Girls Clubs of Tracy provide programs that promote healthy lifestyles, academic success, and character development, including daily exercise, nutritious meals, homework help, goal-setting, and leadership through community service.
- Down Syndrome Connection aims to empower, inspire, and support individuals with Down syndrome and their families, fostering awareness and acceptance across all areas of life.
- Livermore Valley of Arts offers a wide range of programs including arts camps, classes, studio spaces at the Bothwell, free community events, galleries, student arts programs, and live national performances at the Bankhead Theater.
- Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a nonprofit with a clear mission: to ensure no child in our community sleeps on the floor by providing beds that offer security, comfort, and dignity.
The Livermore Valley Wine Auction will feature wine tasting hosted by local Livermore Valley winemakers and an extensive array of live and silent auction items, ranging from wine to private dinners to vacations around the world. Following the live auction, guests will enjoy live music and dancing.
