LIVERMORE, Calif. (June 13, 2024) – Wente Vineyards, America’s longest continuously operated family-owned winery, today unveiled its national golf and wine experiences sweepstakes. The lucky winner and a guest will win a round at The Course at Wente Vineyards, an 18-hole championship course designed by Greg Norman, and a tour and wine tasting at the 141-year-old winery. Wente Vineyards is the only winery in the U.S. to have its own golf course.

The Wine and Golf Experiences grand prize winner will receive a package that includes:
- A trip for two to Livermore Valley, California, the home of the Wente Vineyards and The Course at Wente Vineyards
- Roundtrip coach-class airfare for the grand prize winner and guest to the Bay Area from a major airport within the 48 contiguous United States nearest the winner’s residence as determined by the sponsor
- Three days and two nights hotel accommodations at a hotel of the sponsor’s choice based on single room/double occupancy, up to $350 per night with taxes and fees included
- A tour of the Wente Vineyards vineyard and winery for the winner and guest
- One round of golf for two people at The Course at Wente Vineyards

The sweepstakes comes on the heels of the recently completed first phase of a planned renovation to the picturesque 7,181-yard, par-72 18-hole championship course, which saw the reshaping of all bunkers, newly installed sod and tall fescue around most bunkers, and fresh white bunker sand incorporated into the newly refreshed course. The upcoming second phase of the course’s master plan will include tee renovations, tree work, and improvements to the drainage system.
The Course at Wente Vineyards opened in July 1998.
