Bacigalupi Vineyards Hosts a Big(-ish) Event for Littles

April 17, 2024, Healdsburg, CA – Registration is open for the 5th Annual Bacigalupi Vineyard Designate Tasting, held July 20, 2024, in beautiful Sonoma County. This year’s event brings together 15 premium wineries that craft their wines using grapes from Bacigalupi Vineyards. This collection of boutique wineries will pour a selection of Rosé of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Petite Sirah wines in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation Greater Bay Area.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation Greater Bay Area is celebrating its 40th Anniversary! It exists because littles matter. Since its chapter was founded on January 30, 1984, it has granted the individual wishes of 9,500 children and counting! That’s 9,500 unforgettable experiences, cherished memories, and transformative moments for not only wish kids and their families but also volunteers, donors, and entire communities throughout its 17-county territory in Northern California.

“I remember when 5-year-old cancer survivor Miles Scott got to be Batman for a day. Thousands of people converted San Francisco into Gotham City thanks to the efforts  of the Make-A-Wish Foundation Greater Bay Area. Who wouldn’t want to help grant

wishes like that to kids battling life-threatening illness,” said Katey Bacigalupi when asked why they choose to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

In the Bacigalupi Family, small things matter. Their relatively low volume fruit production is their secret to success, allowing them to walk their vineyards, pruning and harvesting them by hand in collaboration with world-class artisan winemakers. These winemakers, known as Vineyard Designates, proudly display Bacigalupi Vineyard on their bottles. This event is a unique opportunity to taste wines from these small producers all at one big(ish) location while supporting littles.
