The microclimate in Calistoga in 2023 was nearly perfect. A wet winter and a mild growing season delayed the start of the harvest significantly. With no heat pressure to accelerate ripeness, Kenefick Ranch achieved uniform hangtime and grape maturity resulting in beautifully integrated acidity, exuding citrus notes in the aromatics, along with focused lychee elements and the typical melon nuances of Sauvignon Blanc.
