Maryland Wineries Association and Carroll County Farm Museum Celebrate Four Decades of Wine, Art, and Music

WESTMINSTER, Md. (Wednesday, May 29, 2024) – The Maryland Wineries Association is thrilled to announce that tickets for the 40th Maryland Wine Festival will go on sale to the public on Monday, June 3, 2024. This landmark event, hosted in partnership with the Carroll County Farm Museum since 1984, will take place on Saturday, September 14, from 11 AM to 5 PM.

“As Maryland’s wine industry matures, we are proud to showcase the evolution of our local wine producers who are crafting world-class wines,” said Janna Howley, Executive Director of the Maryland Wineries Association. “The Maryland Wine Festival is a celebration of this growth, bringing together wine enthusiasts to experience the exceptional quality and diversity of our wines in the beautiful setting of the Carroll County Farm Museum.”

The festival features an impressive lineup of Maryland wineries showcased in the main field, along with the exclusive Explorer Village, which highlights a curated selection of Maryland-grown wines. Festival attendees enjoy a variety of juried artisans, delicious food vendors, and live music, making it a perfect day for wine lovers and families alike.

“Each year, the Maryland Wine Festival returns to Carroll County, welcoming thousands of visitors who come to enjoy not only the exceptional wines but also the unique crafts, cuisine, and entertainment,” added Howley. “We’re looking forward to another fantastic event this September.”
