The soils in the vineyard are very stoney with little loam. As a result, the vines crop much lower yields and therefore ripen flavors much earlier than the sugars can accumulate. These wines will naturally have lower alcohol content of 11.5% and the Riverside Terrace Sauvignon Blanc fills a niche in the market for those seeking a lighter option without compromising on flavor or character. Its nuanced profile, characterized by notes of green apple, mango, and lemon peel, is a testament to the Clarks’ meticulous attention to detail.
