LAKE BLUFF, IL (May 2, 2024) – Established in 1938, fourth-generation family-owned and operated Terlato Wine Group today announced the promotion of Tony Terlato, II to the role of Vice President, Off-Premise National Accounts.
In this new role, Tony will lead Terlato’s Off-Premise National Account team to expand their luxury brand presence and share in the off-premise chain channel across wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages and will enable him to more deeply engage with Terlato’s customers to continue to build upon the organization’s meaningful, long-term relationships.
Sandra LeDrew, President, and Chief Operating Officer, for Terlato Wine Group said, “Tony has just completed his MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and has a proven history of being a skillful relationship builder with deep knowledge of the industry. This strategic role continues Tony’s executive development with direct responsibility for sales, working closely with our distributor partners and customers. As a fourth-generation Terlato family member, we couldn’t think of a more appropriate person for this role as we continue to grow and expand our business.”
Tony began his career at Terlato Wines in 2017 as the Regional Sales Manager. Since then, he has held several roles with increased responsibility including On-premise National Accounts, Chief of Staff, and Center of Excellence VP.
Tony started his career as an on-premise sales representative at Southern Wine & Spirits. In 2014 he was promoted to account manager for the Signature Division of Southern Wine and Spirits. In 2015, Tony moved to New York City, to join Empire Merchants as a Field Sales Manager in Manhattan and Brooklyn and has achieved Level 3 certification from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust.
As a young adult, Tony completed multiple internships in the industry at Sanford, Chimney Rock, and Rutherford Hill wineries in California. He also spent a summer working in the Rhone Valley of France. He has studied both the production and retail aspects of winemaking. Tony holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a Markets and Management certificate from Duke University.

Tony will report to Sandra LeDrew and will maintain his position on the Terlato Leadership Team.
