New California distributor for dynamic Napa winery

Napa Valley, April 15 2024 — Titus Vineyards has named Serendipity Wines as the winery’s distributor for the state of California. “We started with Serendipity in Texas in 2022 and they exceeded expectations in that market. In searching for a mid-sized three tier partner in California that was willing to engage this market, we felt we didn’t need to look any further,” said Eric Titus, owner, in making the announcement.

“We are thrilled to add Titus Vineyards to our portfolio of artisanal wines crafted with authenticity and distinction,” commented Will Warto, Brand Manager, Serendipity Wines.” “As a family-owned winery with a tremendous commitment to quality and value, Titus is a perfect fit for us,” he adds.

Serendipity Wines is currently offering Titus’ Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve and Andronicus.

Titus Vineyards is a family owned 50-acre vineyard and winery located at the base of Howell Mountain along the Silverado Trail in the heart of the St. Helena AVA, Napa Valley. In the past 30 years, the recognition of the history and quality of St. Helena wines has grown dramatically. The modern-day legacy of winemaking and land stewardship is reflected in the distinctive character of the well-balanced wines made here by Winemaker Stephen Cruzan. The documented history of the property extends back to 1841 and includes General Marino Vallejo, Dr. Edward Bale, Charles Krug, and Eli York. The land has been continuously farmed for over 150 years, with the Titus family’s first harvest in 1969. Dr. Lee Titus, a radiologist, practicing in Sonoma at the time, purchased the land in 1968 and soon after, took over farming the vineyard. The evolution of wine production in Napa was moving towards those varietals – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot – and to further emulate the Bordeaux region, Lee oversaw planting all five of the classic varietals as the old vineyards were being replanted. And so, Titus Vineyards began; bringing together the traditional grapes of Bordeaux in a New World site marked the beginning of the family wine venture.

Titus Vineyards’ tasting room offers a stunning view of the winery’s 50-acre vineyard estate, with its floor-to-ceiling glass and outdoor seating welcomes Valley views to the south, west and north of the property. More at https://www.titusvineyards.com/
