Bianca Giovese rounds out the portfolio of Giovese Family Wines, alongside flagship brand Sandy Giovese Vino Rosso and sister brand Rosie Giovese Vino Rosato. The trio offers a well-rounded selection of acclaimed, premium Italian boxed wines (red, rosé and now white) – for lovers of juicy, delicious wines coming in alternative packaging – a rising trend in wine that delivers on quality, sustainability, longevity and value.

Joining her “sisters” Sandy Giovese and Rosie Giovese in the newly established Giovese Family Wines portfolio, Bianca offers all the benefits that premium boxed wine presents to drinkers, including sustainability, longevity, value, and, above all, superior taste that competes with any comparable bottled wine on the market. Fans of Sandy Giovese will love this refreshing new option, arriving just in time for the spring season.

“I’m so excited to welcome Bianca Giovese into the family just as we get head into spring and summer,” says Amy Ezrin, founder and creator of Giovese Family Wines. “Her personality comes through in the blend – crisp, refreshing, and ready for fun!”

Like her sisters, Bianca is made from chemical-free, organically farmed Italian grapes, including Grechetto and Trebbiano blended with Sauvignon Blanc for a burst of freshness and acidity. The grapes come from the pristine vineyards of Conti degli Azzoni, a sustainability-focused, family-owned winery pursuing B-Corp certification in the Marche region of central Italy. Bone-dry yet juicy, Bianca features flavors of summer florals, succulent nectarine, zesty lime, and tangerine. The newest wine can be found at select on-premise and online retailers.

According to importer Massanois, Giovese Family Wines saw 48% growth YOY from 2022 and a 17% increase with on-premise accounts. Over this time last year, overall sales have increased 40% in the first three months of 2024. The brand launched a successful e-commerce platform in 2023, shipping exclusively through brick-and-mortar retail stores, reinforcing the portfolio’s mission of supporting local shops.  According to IMPACT Databank, premium boxed wines outperformed as a category in 2023 as consumers continue to seek value for their dollar.

Pairing suggestion: With its light body and moderate alcohol, Bianca Giovese Vino Bianco is perfect on its own as an aperitif but will match well with soft cheeses, fresh seafood, salads, and potato chips. It pairs amazingly with porches, lounge chairs, tailgating, ski slopes, and sunsets.

Serving recommendations: Chill before serving. Store in refrigerator.

See www.sandygiovese.com for a demonstration of how to open. Thanks to its oxygen-free, collapsible, insulated bag, the wine inside the box will be good for weeks after tapping.

ABOUT GIOVESE FAMILY WINES

Launched in 2021, Sandy Giovese is the creation of Amy Ezrin, an accomplished entrepreneur, Italian wine expert, and importer. The brand name is a playful reference to her alter ego, Sandy Giovese, as well as the Italian native grape that comprises the flagship wine. Stylish, playful, juicy, and above all, delicious – Sandy Giovese and her sisters in the Giovese Family Wines portfolio are sure to change hearts and minds about what “box wine” can be. Sister brand Rosie Giovese Vino Rosato launched in 2022, a crisp, dry Italian rosé wine that brings the same great taste, longevity, and value to the rosé category. New in spring 2024 is Bianca Giovese – a juicy, fresh, and crisp blend of Grechetto, Trebbiano, and Sauvignon Blanc. Made from organically farmed grapes and perfect with a chill, you can open and store the box in the fridge (up to a month or more) to enjoy as a refreshment all year long. Find all three in a wine shop near you!
