Located in Traben-Trarbach on the Moselle River in Germany, Villa Huesgen is managed by 8th generation family member, Ado Huesgen. The estate’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship since 1735, aligns with Quintessential’s mission to champion multi-generational producers from celebrated terroir from around the world.

Having grown up in the vineyards, Ado Huesgen acts as the current custodian as the Owner and Managing Director of Villa Huesgen, guiding the team to craft wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Moselle region. Ado is joined at the helm by his wife, Christine Huesgen, who manages the marketing and press efforts of the estate. Villa Huesgen grows Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, to produce a range of Collection, Estate, Single Vineyard, Grand Cru and Sparkling wines.
