The event will celebrate spring and the release of the first ever Estate Aglianico.
Stonewall, Texas – February 20, 2024 – Kuhlman Cellars today announces the second annual Blessing of the Vines: An Estate Celebration. The festivities will take place on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 12 pm to 4 pm. The celebration will welcome spring with a special progressive Estate wine tasting throughout the vineyard, the first ever Estate Aglianico release, an event-only Bistro bite specifically developed to pair with the new Estate Aglianico, Live Music, and more.
The event will feature a progressive Estate Wine tasting in the vineyard. The tasting will include the 2022 Estate White, 2022 Estate Roussanne, 2022 Estate Rosé, 2020 Estate Red, and 2021 Estate Aglianico. Each tasting station will be set up in a different area of the vineyard so guests can taste the wines by the vines that grew the grapes. Guests will also have the opportunity to have an informal discussion regarding different Estate topics at each station, including talks about vineyard management efforts, wildflower propagation, Estate history, pollinator cultivation and Texas native plant selection. Tickets for this tasting are $25/person, or $12.50 for Vina Vita Wine Club Members (up to four guests).
There will be live music outside from 1-4 pm. A special Wild Boar Ragu Over Parmesean Polenta Bistro bite paired specially for the new Aglianico will be available for purchase. Dogs are welcome! For more information about this event and to book the Estate Wines tasting, click here.
