Take the Trail

Adventure seekers know that, since 2021, Shady Lane Cellars staff has maintained a fully-groomed cross-country ski and hiking trail. The trail winds a scenic 3-mile loop around the vineyard and connects directly from the region’s TART Trail at the west end of the property.

Kick back in a Heated Igloo

Looking for something more relaxing? New for 2024, winter guests are welcome to cozy up in one of three heated winter igloos. They’re tucked on the tasting patio – just outside Shady Lane Cellars’ tasting room.

According to Missy Check, hospitality and event sales manager for Shady Lane Cellars, the igloos seat up to 8 guests and are available first-come, first-served without a reservation. It’s a perfect spot to warm up from the cold.

“Guests can enjoy wine by the glass, flights, our mulled wine as well as Panther Coffee and hot chocolate,” said Check. “We are serving local, homemade soups each week alongside charcuterie boards, Tableside S’mores and other tasty snacks. Winter is a fantastic time to experience Shady Lane Cellars.”
