Madrid 19 January 2024. Grupo Agrovin, a leading company in developing oenological products, biotechnology, and cutting-edge technology for the wine sector, has one of the most advanced and complete automatic systems on the market to control and manage tanks. This is Tank Control Ulises TDR2, an innovative, comprehensive management tool that monitors critical parameters in the winery for perfect real-time management thanks to its technology.

Tank Control Ulises TDR2 integrates into a single technology six measurement and parameter execution systems to monitor and accurately manage multiple tanks in real-time during vinification, the moment of conservation, and the preparation of wines from a single point efficiently and effectively. A control that helps to predict possible deviations by acting at the precise moment in each phase.

The six systems that make up Tank Control Ulysses TDR2  are:

  • Electrowine. In charge of measuring and monitoring the RedOx potential in tanks to know the tendency of the wine towards reduction or oxidation, allowing to control the supply of oxygen and nutrients to achieve a safe and quality vinification, oriented to the character of the wine to be achieved.
  • DosiOx. Designed to provide the precise dosage of oxygen in wine using macro-, micro-, and variable oxygenation techniques.
  • Ulises TDR2. A pumping-over system that injects high-pressure air into the tank using dual injection that allows a delicate and complete homogenization, optimizing the release of phenolic and aromatic components.
  • Thermocontrol temperature probes  in which it is possible to manage the cooling/heating system of the tank, personalize the temperature according to the vinification phase, and monitor it to act immediately according to the fermentation protocol in the event of any deviation.
  • Density measurement probes are used to obtain a real-time density measurement. The program monitors the values obtained, representing the fermentation kinetics curve, allowing immediate action to be taken in the event of deviation.
  • Level sensors. In charge of measuring the presence of must/wine and reflecting the existing quantity in real time.

This system, developed entirely by Grupo Agrovin’s Technology team, has been designed to provide wineries with significant advantages in managing their processes precisely and efficiently. Among its considerable benefits, Tank Control Ulises TDR2 :

  • Provides real-time information on multiple processing parameters
  • It gives an immediate overview of the actual deposit situation.
  • Enables energy savings of 35-45% with the Ulysses pumping system.
  • Allows the option to customize actions according to the relationship between parameters.
  • It helps the combination of oxygen inputs according to oxide-reductive kinetics.

Tank Control Ulises TDR2  is a flexible system, adaptable and scalable to the needs of each winery. Grupo Agrovin’s team of engineers is personally responsible for getting to know the needs of each winery and advising the winemaking team on the specific requirements for its installation in a simple way to help them be more efficient and responsible in their management.
