January 11th – On January 29, Star Wine List will celebrate the great wine lists of UAE for the first time. The international expert jury has now decided the finalists.
Star Wine List of the Year is the celebration of the great wine lists in the world and the teams behind them. In the UAE, the prize is awarded in ten categories, and the winners will also qualify for the International Final in June 2024. The jury, including top sommelier Paz Levinson and UAE wine expert Ben Kouider, is done deliberating, and the finalists have been selected.
“We are very excited to share the finalists for our first awards in the country – congratulations to all nominees and we look forward to celebrating with them in Dubai on Jan. 29,” said Krister Bengtsson, founder and publisher of Star Wine List.

The jury for the Star Wine List of the Year UAE 2024 comprise three top international sommeliers and one local wine expert:

- Paz Levinson, named Best Sommelier of Americas
